In accordance with the wishes of his brother Edwin he married Ann Elizabeth Jago. After that they visted New York where she gave birth to Edwina, but they did not settle. They returned to Cornwall where she gave birth to their son Philip.
Her husband Philip finally emigrated to New York aboard the SS Oceanic, landing on 6th November 1913.
He was interred in Brooklyn USA, but commemmorated with wife in Trethurgy Cemetry, Cornwall.
Philip married Ann Elizabeth Jago in Sep 1907 in St Austell, Cornwall. (Ann Elizabeth Jago was born in 1889 in Goran, Cornwall, died in 1961 in Truro, Cornwall and was buried in Treverbyn, Cornwall.)
