In the name of god amen. I Richard Aske of Aughton within the County of yorke yeoman Sicke in bodie but whole and in perfect remembrance thanks bee to Almightie god doe make this my last will and testament in manner and forme as followeth First I give and bequeath my Soule into the hands of Almightie god my maker trusting in and throughe the meritts of our Lord Jesus to live with him for ever And my bodie to bee buried in the Parishe Churche of Aughton Item I doe give unto my sonne Robte Aske my Farmehold in Harlethrop to him and his heires for ever provided alwaies that hee paie unto my sonne Francis and to my daughter Margarett and to my daughter Marie to everie one of them tenn pounds when hee comes to one and twentie yeares of age Item I doe give unto Hellene my wife my farmehold where I dwell during the tyme of her widowehood and after that to my sonne Richard Item I doe give unto my daughter Ann twentie poundes Item I doe give unto my daughter Elizabeth Fortie shillinges Item I doe give unto Ann Marshall sixe shillinges and eight pence The rest of all my goods moveable and unmoveable my debts beeing paid and funerall Expences beeing discharged I doe give unto Ellene my wife Robte Richard & Francis my sunes And Ann Margarett and Marie my daughters whom I make sole Execuors of this my last will and testament ......?
